CPL Far East – the world's growth engine

Asian rituals have long been centred around fragrant oils, enhanced by patchouli & clove from Indonesia, geranium & cinnamon from China, ginger & osmanthus from Japan and of course eucalyptus from Australia.
CPL Far East Headquarters are located in the bustling city of Hong Kong, a fusion of eastern and western cultures and a key gateway to China. Modern architecture, stunning skyscrapers, Victoria harbour and relentless shopping make Hong Kong ‘Asia’s World City’.
CPL Far East was formed in 1991 by Thomas Wan.

Today we are very proud to have 12 operational centres in Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.
With a team of 250 employees, we are laser focused on driving our customers’ businesses forward in the most efficient manner possible relying on market understanding, rapid sampling as well as an expert sales team with a hands-on approach. We build strong customer partnerships providing creativity as well as sound technical support.

In Indonesia & Malaysia we have extensive evaluation centres for our evaluators as well as our customers, allowing us to sample fragrances in all stages of their in-use profile. Hong Kong is the Centre of Excellence for Home Fragrances, and is at the forefront of all technical and creative aspects related to candles, reed diffusers and EVA. Our unique two-storey factory in Hong Kong leverages the law of gravity for easy blending and ensures on-time deliveries.
In 2019 we welcomed Thomas Woo who has recently taken up the position of Co-Managing Director.
