On 23rd November, Perfume Holding (the company who hold the Atkinsons fragrance license) hosted a remarkable dinner inside the Burlington Arcade in London to celebrate the opening of the flagship store where the new eau de parfum of the same name was unveiled.
'We’re going back to London, to our history, where Atkinson's headquarter was', says Dino Pace, CEO of Perfume Holding. The three-floored flagship store is the new home of an archive of old Atkinson's perfume formulas and their stories.
Julie Pluchet, CPL’s perfumer of '41 Burlington Arcade’, attended the event to discuss her creation with British aristocracy and journalists who were cordially invited.
'41 Burlington Arcade’ eau de parfum is a spicy woody scent with bittersweet liquorice, bay leaf and pink and black pepper resting on a smoky woody base of patchouli, cedarwood and amber. Aromafusion ingredients make this fragrance unique, as these are exclusively used by CPL perfumers. Only 2000 units of '41 Burlington Arcade’ will be available in the limited-edition box before the fragrance joins the wider Atkinsons collection in 2018.
