His role with IFRA UK is an honorary position.
Nick Pickthall said: "I am proud to have been appointed to this important and prestigious position within the fragrance association for the UK. CPL Aromas has always played a very active role in the Association, believing it to be a vital element of the esteem in which fragrance creation and application is held. My company has always been a leader in creativity. IFRA UK’s emphasis on sound science, which underpins and supports this creativity, is important to us and to the whole sector as well as our customers.
I warmly pay tribute to the immediate past President, Jonathan Gray and on behalf of all the Members and the Executive Committee, thank him for his work in leading the Association".
IFRA UK’s primary focus is the development and advancement of the Fragrance Industry providing a forum which encourages members to maintain high standards in the conduct of their business.
Due to the global nature of the Fragrance Industry, IFRA UK believes it is important to monitor worldwide legislative development in order to ensure consistency. It is important that local legislation does not put the UK fragrance industry at a competitive disadvantage, which in turn leads to barriers to trade. IFRA UK represents those who play an important role by providing the key to that door.
CPL Aromas has always played a leading role within the fragrance industry ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance are met.
