Industry associations

Long before CPL Aromas was established in 1971, members of the founding Pickthall family played an active role in the fragrance industry and its professional bodies and associations – they were even involved in the creation of some of them.

Today, senior CPL employees continue to play their part on committees or as members at the BFA or IFRA, where industry matters are discussed and the future shaped.

They also play active roles in the British Society of Perfumers and the Society of Cosmetic Scientists (of which Jack Pickthall was co-founder), as well as the Fragrance Foundation, which hosts the industry's own Oscars, known as the FIFIs.

It’s through these and other similar activities that CPL shows its commitment to the industry, and helps guide it into a prosperous future.
