Educational programmes
Something that gives us particular pride is the opportunity to inspire tomorrow’s generation – in the industry and beyond. Over the years, we have been fortunate enough to be able to use our success to encourage the future success of others, through funding and mentor support of various educational programmes.
London College of Fashion (LCF)
CPL works exclusively with the LCF as fragrance industry partners exploring the close relationship between fragrance and fashion. We supported the foundation of LCF's first BSc in Cosmetic Science – providing expertise for its validation, lecturers in perfumery, and funds for a new laboratory which was named after our Co-Founder Michael Pickthall. We sponsor course projects such as fashion design technology and fashion photography, and panels of fashion or beauty students test our fragrance product concepts.
University of Plymouth
CPL has supported the University's unique perfumery courses for decades. The courses range from strands in undergraduate BA Business or BSc Science, through postgraduate (in partnership with the University of Versailles/ISIPCA) and the IFEAT Diploma in Perfumery.
These activities introduce students to the rigour of industry, and energise our necessarily applied habits with some youthful idealism!
